Synopsis

Ida has never been away from home for more than a week. Home is the small two-room apartment in Cologne she has shared with her mother Ildikó for 25 years. With Ildikó, who doesn't take her medication, who is afraid of the neighbors, and who has no one but her daughter. The job interview in Fehmarn offers Ida the chance to finally become independent, to finally be free. But can she just leave her mother behind?
